Lighting Up Manchester - Velvet Cushion - Bus

Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive, or GMPTE, was the public body in Greater Manchester responsible for transport between 1974 and 2011.  Covering Stockport, Manchester, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Salford and Trafford, the borough had an iconic orange and brown fleet of busses in the 1970s and 1980s.

These amazing velvet cushions are perfect to bring something different to your sofa, or make a wonderful gift.

This cushion has been made as part of the Lighting Up Manchester Exhibition on Deansgate, Manchester.  The installation will be there during October/November 2021.
